Roll-up, roll-up…it’s time to take a trip down memory lane with the Petticoat Lane Emporium!
I discovered this little (it’s actually huge) ‘City of Paraphernalia’ when I was visiting the beautiful, British seaside town of Ramsgate.
From Thanet, Kent and the South East, this is the newest, biggest and most extravagant vintage merchandise fair I have ever had the pleasure of uncovering. So when you walk in you do not expect to walk through a small doorway to quite literally, a hall packed full of over 175 different stalls. Traders sell vintage, retro, crafts, antiques, arts and everything you can begin to imagine.
I felt like I had unearthed my ideal shopping heaven, especially when I came across this beautiful 1970s, sheepskin collared, perfectly tailored coat for just £15!
This is the perfect spot for all of you that love to shop, bargain hunt and enjoy a quaint pot of tea or two. This emporium has been featured on the celebrity edition of BBC One’s Antique Road Trip.
The Petticoat Lane Emporium lies on Dumpton Park Drive, Ramsgate. Just 800 yards from the Town Centre of Ramsgate, and the picturesque Harbour. So an easy stop off if you are planning a Christmas shop any time soon…
Open 10am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and Sundays 10am to 4pm. This place really does cater for us shopaholics in more ways than one.
