About Daisarella – My name is Daisy and I live in Bedfordshire. I am a Mummy first and foremost. A woman. A Freelance PR Specialist . And am currently in the process of planning a lavish wedding in Marbella, Spain (should COVID allow).
Welcome to my parenting and crazy lifestyle blog, Daisarella. A place where I share MY OWN opinions on food, business, beauty, travel, style and my day to day life.
I started this blog in 2016, but I wasn’t really sure what to do with it at the time. Since then I have become a PR Freelancer, a mummy and an advocate for local businesses.
I’ve worked with some incredible people over the past couple of years including Captain Sir Tom Moore, the hilarious John Challis aka Boycie from Only Fools and Horses. I also regularly get my client’s work featured on news outlets including CNN, Sky News, ITV’s This Morning, The Guardian and so on.
I’m also in the process of a few other exciting projects – so watch this space for more news in the future.
A little bit more about me…
I was born in the town of straw hats, Luton. However, I now spend my time in the beautiful green countryside of North Bedfordshire with my fiancé Wes and our daughter, Belle, plus we have a little kitty called Boo, and a pup called Otis.
I studied Journalism at The University of Northamptonshire. Also completed an internship at CNN in London during my time as a student, where I was first introduced to the magical world of Public Relations. I graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons and followed my dream of becoming a PR Specialist by working in the toy PR industry – which was fabulous when you are an avid Disney Geek like me.
I am obsessed with social media and the GOOD side of it.

Supporting local businesses…
When lockdown hit in March 2020 – worry kicked in.
Late one evening, we were discussing the economy, the high street and had a thought. Why don’t we set up a business to support independent businesses in Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire. With my PR and his understanding of being a retailer, we knew that we could offer support to a number of businesses. So that’s when our baby – Word on the St. Beds and Bucks was born!
