Find Your Valentines Spark!

Candles always set the ambience in our house, and I am forever purchasing new brands, scents and concepts like wax melts and reed diffusers to create a lush smell all day long in our home.

Handmade Perfect4U are a company that are based not too far away from myself, so this is something that always appeals to me. I strongly believe you should support local businesses and promote them where you can. I’d never heard of them before but after checking out their website, I quickly realised that I could completely prepare for Valentines in one big hit. They sell luxury handmade candles, personalised candles, reed diffusers, bath products and even wedding day inspiration scents (which is obviously at the forefront of my mind at the moment).

I chose to receive the handmade candles Fresh Linen and Sweet Fig which both retail at £14.50 each.

Nothing says ‘welcome home’ quite like the enticing fragrance of fresh linen, and when you have a mucky 1 year old and a house cat – sometimes a candle is the only way to get rid of bad odours lingering.

Burning my candle in the kitchen helped to create a welcome, comfortable and familiar smell all over the home. The Fresh Linen has a musky floral accord with violet, orange and ginger blossoms, plus a hint of jasmine and lily. It really is spring awakening and perfect for this time of year.

Fig gives off an earthy, sweet aroma, reminiscent of freshly picked fruit in the spring and summertime. Warm and comforting all year round, the subtle scent of fig carries through, enriching any environment. My personal favourite out of the two, and the one that surprised me the most.

All Handmade Perfect4U candles are lovingly made by hand in the UK, and are of high quality. The candles come complete with their own glass holder, an understated and stylish look for your home. It’s the small attention to detail that make these candles personal and extremely more-ish.

    I absolutely adore all home fragrance but if I could only choose one candle fragrance, it would be jasmine and freesia.

    I light candles throughout the year and chhose scents to suit the season. At this time of year I love fresh linen, as I am usually on my Spring cleaning binge!
