It’s British Science Week 2020, and we have been invested in celebrating with one of our favourite educational brands – Learning Resources.
For those of you that may not know, Learning Resources help children count, read, code, draw and just generally develop their skills. Learning is where their mission lies with a whole world of playtime elements included.
Their products are suitable for a whole range of ages, and some of their popular brands include: GeoSafari®, Beaker Creatures® and Mathlink®.
Learning Resources have a whole section of Science themed toys for children, and it opens up a whole world of discovery with science lab sets, experiment kits, and science project kits developed to create interactive learning experiences.
We kindly got sent two products from Learning Resources, the GeoSafari® Jr Kidnoculars® and Primary Science® Lab Set.
Primary Science® Lab Set – £28 – suitable for 3 to 8 year olds
This set allows you to get fully hands-on with the wonders of chemistry and science, and uses real science lab equipment made especially for little hands. The robust plastic is chunky, child-friendly but feels extremely grown up and scientist like. It is a fantastic toy that fascinates little eyes, and the full-colour wipe-clean activity cards show you how to do easy experiments with a guardian’s support.
Belle is still a little bit too young to get involved with this toy, but we cannot wait to crack it open this summer and show her how to explore the fascinating world of Science.
GeoSafari® Jr Kidnoculars® – £12 – suitable for 3 to 7 year olds
We live extremely close to a national forest, which has fantastic animal look-out points, so we couldn’t wait to get out and about with Belle and show her how to see them up-close-and-personal.
Belle couldn’t wait to go out and about with her new toy binoculars, and it made our weekly walk all the more special. The focus-free eyepieces enable young children to see the outdoors in a brand new way. The durable design also means that no matter how many times Belle dropped them, they weren’t damaged and could easily be picked back up. These are by far my new favourite toy of Belle’s.
Get involved in British Science Week by purchasing Learning Resources Science themed toys, and introduce them to the world of possibilities that science has to offer.
