Advert – Gifted product
When I was gifted this product, I instantly liked it because of it’s catchy name – Totes Emosh.
It’s a card game that has a similar theme to charades, but all using facial expressions. So as you can imagine, there is lots of LOLing involved, especially when you have no idea what the face is that is being pulled by your opponent.
You simply pick a card, pull the face on the card and the other players have to guess which face it is using the key card.
The player with the roundest head starts (so in our case – that was me ‘Ms small circle head’). As soon as they pull the face, anyone else can shout out a guess, using the key cards to see the face numbers. Guessers can’t try again until at least one other player had had a go. So don’t simply shout “1,2,3,4” or you will be considered a BIG CHEAT.
Whoever shouts out the right number wins the card. Then it’s their turn to pull a face. When all the faces have been pulled, count your cards, and whoever has the most wins.
It’s suitable for players 5+ but we played a sillier version with our 2 year old, and she absolutely loved it. You can play with 3 – 7 players, but the more players, the longer and harder the game.
It would make a great addition to ‘Christmas Table’ fun and games after dinner this year. Lord knows, we all need a laugh…
