CALLING ALL SINGLETONS!!!
Please note this is a collaboration post.
What do you want to achieve this year? Whether it’s love, laughter or just some bloody company after such a lonely year in 2020, online dating may be the answer you’ve been looking for all along.
You can save so much money by choosing the right online dating platform for you. Of course, there are loads of FREE online dating sites and apps, but they are not always the most reliable and can often lead to more disappointment than anything.
CALLING ALL SINGLETONS – FAR AND WIDE.
There are some really great affordable dating sites and apps that cost a weekly, monthly or annual fee to sign up. A lot of the apps also understand that you may not be using the site/app for that long (because hopefully you find what you are looking for), so they do allow you to cancel your subscription as and when you like.
A local paid dating site may be the answer for you, and it keeps dating in the real wold realistic too. You wouldn’t wanted to meet Gloucestershire singles if you were based in Luton would you? So by keeping it local, regional or within a certain distance means that you won’t be wasting your time or anybody else’s for that matter.
Dating right now is not possible – we are in a national lockdown, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have new exciting conversations with singles near you. Singletons up and down the country are in the same boat! So why not sail the seas together….instead of online.
Online dating is similar to online shopping, and don’t laugh at me until you’ve heard me out…

With your online shopping basket, you put brands or products in there that take your fancy. Well with online dating, you spark up conversations with those people you initially fancy or like from their profile, and take them out that basket if you don’t feel an initial connection. Sometimes those items in the basket don’t always deliver…
ONLINE DATING
When you initially begin online dating whether that be Gloucestershire dating or Bedfordshire dating, (it doesn’t matter where you are) the world can seem a little daunting. Where do you begin?

Start by setting up your profile – it’s a bit like setting up a Facebook or new social media profile, so try not to put too much pressure on yourself. You are not trying to sell yourself, you are just making yourself shine.
Once you’re happy with your profile, have a look around the app/site and see if you are comfortable with using and navigating around it. If you are then you are good to go…
Don’t get startled when your first message pops into your inbox, this isn’t anything to be afraid of, after all…that’s what you signed up for. Start slowly, and remember, you don’t have to reply to people that you don’t want to. It isn’t rude and this is the nature of online dating, and one of the perks I found to it. It’s not like someone approaching you to your face and you feeling like you have to make a conversation, you can simply close the conversation and be done with it.
Remember your reasons for signing up, stay safe and enjoy the experience as it should be fun as well as a little nerve wracking to begin with.
