The Only Way is UP for seniors looking to find love this year. Online dating has stepped its game up and is supporting people of all ages, genders, sexual preferences and regions across the UK.

Loads of online dating apps and websites are promoting LOVE this month. That’s because so many of us have been locked in, locked up and without a companion to stay entertained, or bicker with in my case.

Dating agencies up and down the country and doing their bit to combat loneliness, depression and isolation. They are promoting their love finding services more than ever. Dating agencies in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, London, and even Essex dating site are sharing the positives with interaction online right now.

For many seniors, being locked up in the comfort of their own homes has introduced them to new skills and hobbies such as painting, knitting, crafting and even reading more. But the importance of socialising is still paramount. Online dating can help this. Whether it be for people to meet other singles locally romantically, or whether its just looking for some interaction and conversation for a future friend/companion.

Where do you start when the only way is up?

I always recommend that you look locally. If you are in Manchester – search for ‘dating agency Manchester’ online or perhaps ‘dating agency Essex‘ for those down South. Wherever you are based, there are loads of safe, affordable and fantastic apps and websites to help you find the companion, friendship or romantic partner you may be longing for.

When people first sign up with a dating agency, it is best to be clear from the beginning with what you are looking for. Many people join them to find love, but not everybody has this intention and it is best to state that in your profile from the very start of your journey.

Perhaps you are looking for a new walking companion. Or somebody to just pass time with and play online bingo with; whatever it may be, that’s okay.

Looking for a romantic partner online can seem a bit daunting at first, but it really doesn’t have to be. We are living in a modern world. Lots of our communication takes place via a screen – be that an iPad, a computer or our phone. The new dating world doesn’t mean that things have to change when our world returns to normal, but it does mean that right now…people don’t have to be lonely and sit in pure silence.
