I recently discovered the incredible handmade ceramic tableware by Peter Bowen Art, and the craft, passion and love that goes into every bespoke piece.

About Peter Bowen Art
Peter Bowen studied art and design at the former West of England College of Art in Bristol, England before embarking on a career in advertising, design and marketing. He now lives and practices what he has learnt about art and ceramics over the last 40 years, in the beautiful countryside of England near the historic City of Wells in Somerset.
Peter really enjoys exploring new creative challenges and presents them in every bespoke ceramic piece he carefully creates.
The Country Kitchen Collection
I was kindly gifted the Honey Speckle Sugar bowl with gold leafy spoon, finished with a matching lid. The collection is all microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.
I use mine to store my sugar cubes for that afternoon caffeine and sugar hit that I so often need from playing working mummy.
The bowl can also be used for storing sweeteners, a range of different sugars or perhaps even honey.

In the Country Kitchen Collection there are loads of beautiful ceramics available including butter dishes, milk jugs, spoon rests, and beautiful bowls. They are the perfect gift for loved ones – and really do offer something unique for a shelfie in the home.
There are loads of other collections that Peter Bowen offers such as:
- Limited edition art prints – that really bring the essence of the English coast alive
- Ceramic clocks – that are beautifully unusual and a little wonky – but very appealing for a new feature of the home
- And of course, the gorgeous kitchenware collection that is not only a perfect gift for loved ones, but a perfect treat for those of us who like bespoke pieces for the home
