We have just got back from a much-needed family getaway to sunny Spain, and we were kindly sent some personalised drinking games from Proper Goose to let our hair down in the evenings during our holiday and have some fun!
One thing that’s worth noting is that drinking games are also the perfect games to bring out when you’re throwing a party at home, such as for New Year’s Eve or even to celebrate a big birthday. You may want to have a few sober games too, as there may be drivers among your guests, unless everyone is sleeping safely over. Myself and Wes don’t drink much at all since becoming parents, and because our lifestyles are so full-on with work, parenting and prioritising spending quality family time together. Personalised Shot Pong Drinking Game Gift Set – £19.50
I used to be a University student, so this has always been a firm favourite for a messy night involving challenge and booze. Fair to say I lost during our holiday as Wes has a better shot than me. Although I will admit, I did tame it down and do a couple of Fanta Lemon shots, as well as a few Jagers and Tequilas.
This set is perfect for up to four players. Set the cups out on the table for each opponent, fill them with a tipple of your choice and aim to get the ping pong ball into your opponent’s cup – it’s that simple, or so you think after a few shots. Once the shot is done, turn over a truth or dare card and complete your task.
The set includes a personalised tin, a set of red plastic shot cups, mini ping pong balls, truth or dare cards and instructions to ensure the game is setup perfectly.
Ride The Bus Drinking Card Game – £19.50
Admittedly I’ve never played this game before, so this was a real treat to get into.
This game can be played in any size group. Once the cards are set up on the table, each player takes a turn to guess if the card is black or red before turning it over. If they are correct they keep going until they get it wrong, or ultimately get to the end to win.
This set comes with a personalised Ride The Bus tin, your very own Ride The Bus cards and an instruction set to ensure everyone understands the rules.
Ring of Fire Card Game – £19.50
Again this was always one of my favourites when at University, and would always get everyone in the room competing, laughing and completing tasks.
It’s a bit of a messy game though…

Never Have I Ever Card Game – £19.50
Never Have I Ever is the ultimate hen do fun drinking game, although perhaps not if your Mother-in-law is in the same room as you.
Stored within this personalised tin is your very own set of Never Have I Ever cards which also comes with instructions…but it’s fairly simple and the rules are pretty obvious. Get drinking if you have done what the card states, and stay sober if you haven’t.
Who is Most Likely Card Game – £19.50
A really nice icebreaker game for students who have just started their time at University, or perhaps at a party.
It’s a game that can be played by a group of any size, and each player takes it in turns to read the back of each card out and then vote who would be likely to do that particular thing. Some cards have also been left blank, which just adds to the element of fun and surprise.
