I recently got sent some Magma Rocks, and I’d never previously heard of the concept before so I was interested in getting them unboxed immediately to discover more. Magma London was founded in 2017 with the goal of keeping traditional African and Arab heritage, practices and techniques alive whilst inspiring the imaginations of customers too. Magma London create innovative scented products that celebrate cultural histories and timeless designs – all in one.
AD – please note Magma Rocks were gifted, but all views are my own.
I live in a three-storey townhouse, and I was kindly sent two different Magma Rocks Diffusers – Morning Dew Volcanic Rocks and Cool Woods Volcanic Diffuser. I’ve placed one in my downstairs hallway, and one on the top floor in the bathroom, and my entire house smells incredible. The diffuser gives off the most amazingly strong fragrance.
Cool Woods is a smooth, oriental fragrance that features agarwood, sandalwood, mandarin and vanilla gliding into base notes of white musk and aloe vera.

Morning Dew is a green and aquatic scent, with notes of Fresh Green, Citrus, Mountain air and lily of the valley.
Magma Rocks is a unique twist on home fragrance, using the grounding properties of pumice rock and combining with our amazing variety of fragrances.
Ethically sourced from Arusha in Tanzania, Magma Rocks are the most porous and natural rocks found on earth. Magma London’s in-house curated fragrance blends are inspired by the creative director’s memories and unique artistic palate that beautifully marry the heritage with contemporary trends. They work so much better than your standard diffuser around the home, and last much, much longer.

You start by emptying half the bottle over the rocks, and then you reguarly put a few drops on the rocks to keep the fragrance topped up.
I’ve had mine in my home for two weeks now, and the fragrance is still really strong.
I love the heritage and culture story behind Magma Rocks, and highly recommend for people who love discovering ethical, exciting brands and also brands that do what they say.
