We kindly got sent a Classic Steak Box to review ahead of Valentine’s Day, and I must say – nothing compares for my husband. He was absolutely over the moon with this delivery – and it has meant that I have been able to let him take over the cooking for a few evenings too.
Each box comes with 2x 250g Ribeye Steaks, 2x 220g Rump Steaks and 2x 250g Sirloin Steaks. They are three prime cuts from the beast, all dry-aged to perfection in a Himalayan salt chamber. We had ours in a Korean Rice Bowl, Steak with Mushrooms and Peppercorn Sauce, and then a Garlic Butter, Steak and Mash dish – all three were delicious, and the steak is amazing quality.

The French Black truffle flavoured olive oil from aix&terra is one of the most popular products in their range. It is produced with the black truffle from Périgord and a mild extra virgin olive oil from Nyons in the Provence. It is delicious on meat, pasta, risotto and vegetables. I use this over all my roasted vegetables now, particularly over my parsnips and carrots for a Sunday Roast, but I am going to continue to explore using it on other menu items. It is insanely good!!
