Halloween is fast approaching, and this year I am going to create a little Boo Bucket for both my girls. Belle is aged 7, and is into everything Wednesday Addams, Goosebumps and is a proper thrill-seeker. Millie is aged 2, so is more into the tasty treats than anything else, but here are some of my favourite Trick or Treats for their buckets…

We kindly got sent one of these Squid Games Plush, and although I am not sure Belle really knows what it is based on (think she just recognises it from playing Roblox), she loves it and has put it pride of place on her pillows for the spooky season ahead.
It’s a really high-quality plush, and I was definitely shocked at the price point. I think it was at least £15.
Harry Potter’s Invisibility Cloak – £34.99 – available from Amazon
Disappear from view and recreate some of your favourite Harry Potter scenes, or make a funny one-up like we did one evening (Belle just seems to like dancing and making TikTok-style videos with hers).

It’s a brilliant gift this season, and it can also be used as cloak for Trick or Treating too, so a 2-in-1 gift.

These educational books are excellent, and although not necessarily ‘Halloween’ themed, I liked always to include them in my gifting to Belle as we have been reading several of them, and she really enjoys the themes.
This particular one is based on best friends Lilli, Leo and Bea as they find their day taking an unexpected twist when they discover an old board game, Questland, and magical amulets. Although Millie is two, I absolutely love getting a themed Orchard Toys game for the girls that they can both play with together. Belle and Millie have been really enjoying playing this particular Halloween themed one together, and yes, they do get a little competitive with it too.
It’s great for them to play something together, and also get away from the screens!

I can’t just include stuff for the girls, so this one is for us Mums that want to feel a little autumnal and embrace the spooky season too.
