Benjamin’s Baby Cutlery

So the time is nearly upon us to start the joys of…weaning.
We were kindly sent Benjamin’s Children Cutlery Set (RRP £17.99) to help us prepare for our next big step into the world of parenting. The set contains a pusher and spoon which is aged at children 12+ months, so DO NOT hand your baby this set when you first start weaning as they won’t have a clue what to do (almost like handing them a knife and fork and telling them to eat). If you’re fully in the weaning stage then this is a perfect next step to teaching them to eat with proper cutlery.

The set is extremely lightweight which helps children with their grip. The ergonomic design looks great and doesn’t have your cutlery draw looking like a children’s soft play centre.

The box is a beautiful design of colour and extremely eye catching. The cutlery itself is great value for money and won’t have you breaking the bank.
When I first took the cutlery out the box, I thought the shape of the spoon and pusher a little odd. After careful consideration, I realised this was because I am an adult who can use her knife and fork. This set is perfect for teaching your little one table manners and the simple things of using two utensils to put food into your mouth.
The cutlery is completely safe and isn’t sharp at all, so you don’t have to worry about them prodding and poking themselves or anyone else when self feeding.
The set is available for left and right handed children so nobody has to feel put out.

All in all, this is a great next step for parents who are in full swing of weaning. It teaches your little one to self feed and helps them build their confidence at the dinner table.
So don’t go plastic, go Benjamin’s.
