I HEART London – I mean who doesn’t? From the history of the glorious city to the endless amount of things to do, see and photograph.
The one thing that I can’t get enough of when I visit the beautiful city is the huge amount of options for food, but I love to try different places; no chain restaurants. Why visit a Pizza Express on your adventure into the city when you can do that at home? So I have put together a list of some of the most beloved, quirky and outstanding dining experiences in London. From interactive menus to live performances on your table.

Here are some of my all-time favourites that will make your trip even more enjoyable:
- Inamo – Lover of asian cuisine? This is your one stop shop for all things sushi and gaming. This restaurant features interactive menus on your table where you can set the mood, discover more about where you are, watch a live chef camera feed and play retro video games. It’s a very informal way of dining, but an experience you won’t forget in a hurry too.
- Circus – This is a night-long experience and is great for you party animals out there. Circus is a unique cabaret and cocktail dining experience, where the waiters bring the menu to life. Expect the unexpected from a pop-up circus right before your very eyes. From aerialists to fire-breathers, Circus will leave your tastebuds satisfied and your excitement fulfilled.
- Dans Le Noir – Do you fancy dining in pitch darkness? Dans Le Noir is the sensory experience of a lifetime. All waiters are visually impaired and will help you change your preconceived ideas of tastes of food. It’s a brand new way to dine but also a fab way of socialising. Get rid of any preconceptions you have and eat some beautiful food that will leave you truly stunned and very full. If you are vegan or vegetarian, then fear not as Dans Le Noir will ensure that the chef will deliver tastes for your palette.
- The Medieval Banquet – Why not join King Henry VIII at his royal banquet and be a part of London’s spectacular history yourself. Go back in time to the days of dining like a King or Queen, and enjoy a night of dinner-theatre. From jesters, knights, kings, queens, acrobats and even dragons, this is the perfect dining experience for christmas parties.
- Archipelago – It’s a sensory experience like no other. Archipelago Restaurant features golden Buddhas, dwarf palm trees and giant peacock feathers. The exotic indulgence of global cuisine just bangs the nail on the head and ensures this experience is one to remember. From hallmark dishes like crocodile, python and kangaroo to standard and inventive classics chicken, fish and an array of vegetarian friendly mains. It has something for everyone.

So whether you are visiting London for a date, a shopping trip with the girls or a all-day ‘bender’, choose somewhere a little quirky and explore the city’s food options in a different light.
