Some people HATE receiving candles, diffusers and wax melts as gifts, but every time I receive something that creates a delicious smell in my home I get very excited.
There is nothing more appealing than walking through your front door and smelling your new favourite candle. So when I was sent Price’s Candles in the post, I simply couldn’t wait to get a whiff.
Price’s Candles have been going since 1830, and are now a thriving home fragrance company. Their collection consists of 30 different scents in an array of different candle sizes and reed diffuser options too. I got sent the Fragrance of the Month – Mixed Berries, in a reed diffuser and a boxed candle jar.
The Mixed Berries fragrance is a fresh blend of seasonal blackberries, strawberries, cranberries and blueberries with a hint of sweet vanilla. My home has never smelt so seasonal, clean and of course, fruity fresh.
The candle options you can choose from are: small, medium, large, boxed, tin, tea lights, odour eliminator, church and dinner candles. I got sent a boxed jar of Mixed Berries (£8.00), and it is made from high quality wax and come in a beautifully decorated box which is perfect to give as a gift. The fragrance it gives off is 100% bespoke to Price’s Candles so is a real unique treat.
The reed diffuser options you can choose from are by fragrances such as: fruity, floral, fresh, sweet, festive, wood and spice and an odour eliminator. I was sent the reed diffuser in Mixed Berries (£13.50) and have popped it in my home office. It has made my initial entrance to work much more welcoming and vibrant.
I am forever trying new brands when it comes to candles, wax melts and reed diffusers, but Price’s Candles are up there with the best scent I have ever smelt. The smell doesn’t just burn out and disappear after an hour or two, it stays fragrant and fresh all day long.
So with Christmas fast approaching for all of those buying for me – pop a Price’s Candle under the tree and I’ll be extremely happy.
