Where it began

Snow White was actually the first film I ever saw in the cinema. Despite crying when the witch came on the screen and having to be taken out the screening. The seed was planted, and a Disney fantasist was born.

My Experiences of Love

We all dream about meeting our prince/princess. I’ve been in love two and a half times before meeting my Prince Charming. I know, two and a half times seems bizarre but let me talk you through it…

First love – Young love.

Second love – The heartbreaker.

Half love – The one I fell for but wasn’t quite ready to let my guard down for!

Third love – my Prince Charming – my Fiance – my Wes! The greatest love of them all..

We all dream of meeting Prince Charming, but it isn’t always an easy road leading to you meeting them. Mine certainly wasn’t and I had my heart broken a couple of times. I also broke other people’s hearts and mucked people about. For this, I am extremely sorry and I always will be but we all go through being youthful . My lessons have been made. I’m extremely happy when I look back on my love stories now. They all mean something and have an impact on who I am today.

Online dating is how I met my third love, but none of the others were through this method of dating. And yet here I am..a mortgage together, a daughter together and due to say ‘I DO’ next year.

There are loads of benefits to dating online, but the fact you can scope out how close you want them to be based is my main one. This quickly highlights whether you should or shouldn’t meet up for another date.

Dating is fun, and online dating is still exciting. It’s just a different method to all the other ways of meeting someone. It isn’t considered the traditional way, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t as romantic.

I’m all for romance. As I mentioned above – Snow White introduced that to me, and Disney films became my dream. My dream was achievable despite people saying ‘that’s a fairytale and isn’t real’. My fairytale came true and it may not be like the movies but it makes me feel like a princess. That’s the fairytale I always dreamt of…
