A year later and we are still in lockdown, so a night in with movies, card games, books, lots of bubbles (in the bath and in a glass) and the ambience of candlelight.
Here’s a little breakdown of how to enjoy a night in surrounded by candlelight…
Activity Number One for Cosy Nights In
Starting the night off with a hot bubble bath! So, the candles lit, essential oils and a coffee moisturising scrub to exfoliate all that lockdown dead skin away (sounds odd but it was really relaxing). A steamy bath is the perfect way to begin any cosy night in, especially when a toddler has been pestering you in a locked down house for 12 months.

Activity Number Two for Cosy Nights In
The next activity was to get dressed in BRAND NEW pyjamas. Therefore, the slippers go on and it is time to choose our first activity….a quick card game. This was whilst waiting for the takeaway dinner to arrive. A cosy night in wouldn’t the COSIEST if you didn’t order your favourite cuisine.
Activity Number Three
Sitting down at our dining room table, and again the candles are lit with our brand new Lumiere Candle Lighter. This has been designed as an item anyone would be proud to have on display in their home. It can also be taken from room to room to enhance the ambience. It comes in six different metallic colours.
Activity Number Four
Dinner demolished and onto the sofa we go with a blanket, reading glasses (getting old), a box of chocolates. It’s time to pick a flick that we will BOTH find enjoyment from watching (that’s Mean Girls, Notting Hill and Breakfast at Tiffany’s out the window then). So we decide on the brand new Coming to America 2, and settle down for the evening with a glass of bubbles in hand.

Lumiere Candle Lighters are available from Tesco, Waitrose Online and Wilko.
