Things To Do In Wilshire Guide:
Stonehenge and Avebury Heritage Site
I mean, it had to be included didn’t it? Avebury henge and stone circles are one of the greatest marvels of prehistoric Britain. Built during the Neolithic period, between 2850 BC and 2200 BC. The henge has survived so much and it really is a site worth viewing.

This is definitely one for the whole family, with lots of kid friendly activities and walks to embrace too. The Stourhead National Trust Gardens are currently in full bloom surrounded by daffodils. Come rain or shine, at Stourhead you can explore beautiful gardens, countryside, walk your dog, explore trails with the kids or take part in interactive walks. But you don’t have to be a boat lover to appreciate this beautiful waterway. There are downloadable activity sheets on pond dipping online, local walks to explore with a loved one, or visit the Diamond Jubilee Wood to witness the newly planted flowers in bloom.

ESPA at Lucknam Park
So maybe petrol isn’t something of interest to you. Well, one of the best spas in Wiltshire is ESPA at Lucknam Park.
Lucknam Park is an elegant country mansion set in 500 acres of Wiltshire countryside. This spa is glorious and will have you travelling up a long driveway lined with trees upon arrival. It has an impressive host of facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a spa with lots of luxurious treatments to choose from, an equestrian centre, tennis courts, and a Michelin starred restaurant called Hywel Jones.
Roman Baths
And finally, I had to end on the Roman Baths when talking about things to do in Wiltshire.
The Roman Baths are one of the finest historic sites, and one that I am still yet to visit myself.
It is run by the Heritage Services section of Bath & North East Somerset Council. It consists of the preserved remains of one of the most religious spas of the ancient world. Set in the heart of the City of Bath, this unique thermal spa is a place that is A MUST to visit when exploring Wiltshire.
