The beautifully designed wooden trays for smiles by Ellie Good Illustration are my absolute favourite new homeware item in the house, and they make the perfect way to serve up post nursery treats too.

Ellie uses her colourful, hand-drawn, painted and geometric illustrations to make sustainable homewares and paper goods, with the aim of bringing smiles to people’s faces and keeping the planet happy. She takes commissions, and sells her work online and through a growing list of stockists across the UK.

When I got given the opportunity to be sent a beautiful homeware item from Ellie’s collection, I had to go for the cat designs as my Daughter, Belle is a huge fan!
We got sent the Cat Characters Small Tray and Tea Towel Set which retails online at £26.50. You can also purchase a large tray set for £36.
It makes the perfect gift for cat lovers, and you can choose between the pink or aqua tea towel design to match the large or small wooden tea tray to create a cute little gift bundle. The tea towel is 100% organic cotton, and is exceptionally good quality. The tray is perfect for when guests are around or you want to treat your little kitty cat lover to some post nursery snacks. It’s dishwasher safe – which is also a bonus in my eyes!
