Easter doesn’t have to be all about chocolate eggs, hot cross buns and bunches of tulips. We have put together an alternative gift guide that may help you gift loved ones this season.
AD – GIFTED – but all thoughts are my own.
The Alternative Easter Gift Guide
The Swing by Britta Teckentrup – £15.99 – available from Amazon.co.uk
There’s not many children’s books that are beautifully crafted and illustrated, and worthy of keeping on bookshelves for years to come, but this is one that will be passed down from generation to generation.
It makes a gorgeous alternative children’s gift this Easter.

Lakrids The Egg – Crispy Caramel – £24.00 – available from Lakrids
Not everyone likes chocolate – and yes, I am one of those strange people. So the Lakrids collection is the perfect alternative for people who prefer something else sweet.
Bite into a beautifully, speckled lightbrown shell and enjoy how silky dulche chocolate blends perfectly together with raw liquorice powder.

Vegan Milk Chocolate Egg – £12.95 – available from Cocobachocolate.com
Just like some people don’t like chocolate, well, some people can’t eat dairy (including my little Nephew). So this Vegan milk chocolate egg is the perfect diet alternative for people with food allergies. I’m not a fan of vegan alternatives, but the Cocoba range is really delicious.

Mash’ems – £3.29 – available from Smyths
Mash’ems sensory toys are amazing squishy fun, providing a tactile sensory experience for children. Sensory toys can help develop communication, fine motor skills and creative play.
They come in loads of different varieties including: Disney Princesses, Jurassic World, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Marvel Avengers and loads more.
Instead of hiding chocolate eggs – try hiding these squishy toys around the garden instead.

SFR Stomper Pink Girls Adjustable Tri Roller Skates – £39.95 – available from skates.co.uk
These great quality children’s adjustable pink quad skate from the SFR brand are the perfect ‘end of term’ treat for little ones that are perhaps performing well at school and deserve an extra little something ahead of Easter.
They will also help little skating beginners to improve their strength, durability and balance.
The Stomper roller skates are size adjustable meaning they can be adjusted as your child’s feet grow, so you get four sizes for the price of one!

Peter Rabbit Autumn Leaf Leggings – £10 – Blade and Rose
Introducing the adorable and vibrant Peter Rabbit Autumn Leaf leggings for your little one from my favourite outlet – Blade and Rose! These leggings feature a stylish striped pink pattern and are adorned with a playful Peter Rabbit print on the bottom.
A beautiful seasonal gift for the little terrors in your life.

Buzzworthy – Cocktails Inspired by Female Literary Greats – £14.99 – available from Prestel
This cocktail recipe book is great value for money, and has the most beautiful illustrations throughout. The author of ‘Free The Tipple’ is back with another collection of delectable cocktails – this time a literary mix inspired by the world’s most iconic women writers. There are over 50 recipes included and they are each published alongside the profile of one of the iconic women we all know and love.

Toomies Hide And Squeak Egg Stackers – £14.99 – available from JohnLewis
If you have little ones to consider this Easter, then the Toomies Hide and Squeak Egg Stackers are the perfect gift.
They squeak, they fit together, they stack, and they tumble down! Little ones will love all the things they can do with this happy half-dozen Hide & Squeak Egg Stackers.
There’s much more to these Egg Stackers than the sum of their parts. Each egg comes apart to reveal a cheeping chick inside that children as young as six months will find fascinating. Small enough for little hands to handle, they’ll enjoy reassembling the shells, exploring the contrasting, curious faces and discovering their egg cup bases.

Bunny Shaped Chocolate Bars – £9.95 – available from Cocobachocolate
I’ve included another product from the Cocoba collection, simply because I love their huge variety of not only vegan and dairy-free gifts but also avid original chocolate lovers.
The chocolate is definitely one to try if you haven’t already.

Tumblers – Duralex glassware is available from a range of retailers including John Lewis, Wayfair, Ocado, and Rinkit. Prices start from £7
I personally think the Duralex glassware is a lovely alternative Easter gift for if someone has invited you round their house for Sunday lunch. It’s a great alternative to a bunch of flowers, and will help your host to serve drinks for the day too.

And for those of you just wanting standard Easter chocolate…
