Developed by the knowledge of the Etta Loves team, their in-house Orthoptist and scientific research partners at The Sussex Baby Lab. The video has been created to allow parents 12 minutes peace safe in the knowledge that babies are watching a supportive visual experience – capturing their attention to calm and stimulate whilst caregivers can see to an older sibling, do a chore, or quite simply get 12 minutes peace…

The first time my nephew gripped my finger.
I’ve had 4 babies, my first was born with his cord tight round his neck so after some panicking it was a relief to hear a weak cry (he’s 22 now!). My third has Down’s Syndrome, we had no idea till he was born, he was whisked away to SCBU so another frantic time. My fourth was stillborn on her due date. So my happiest would be when my second child was born, she was born at 8 minutes to 1am, she was bright pink and full of life, my husband said I was smiling from ear to ear!!

My daughters were born early.. 6 weeks early and weight 4lb 6oz.. and 8 weeks early weighing 2lb 8oz.. I first memory of each of them was.. OMG – how tiny they were and then .. are they really mine… they are now 32 and 28 respectively xx
